Resilience
DR ANGELA HERBERT MBE
Resilience is a characteristic that we all need. It aids us as individuals and within staff teams in the workplace to deal with people that practice bias behaviours and micro-aggression. Resilience is the ability to ‘spring-back’ from the impact of ‘blows’ resulting from all aspects of institutional discrimination and inequalities. Individuals that perpetrate and become victims of these types of behaviours all need support – to acknowledge the impact on themselves and others.
